5ooo Prototypes

Just read about James Dyson who invented the revolutionary (and expensive) dyson vacuum cleaner. He is very proud of the fact that it took him over 5000 prototypes to get it right! Imagine the vision and dedication of the man.

There is a lesson in this for all would be inventors and innovators. You have to adopt an experimental mindset. Ask yourself, what are three things that i am testing this week? They do not have to be big. The important point is to get into the habit of testing.

Also when you adopt a test mindset you are more open to new ideas and to take risks. What are you testing right now?
